Nicole Schröter

Nicole joined the Patvocates Team as project manager in 2018. She was raised in Argentina, Spain and Germany and holds a Master in International Cultural and Business Studies from the University of Passau. Nicole has a pharma and business background and worked for a generics pharmaceutical company (Denk Pharma GmbH & Co. KG, Germany) for many years prior to becoming self-employed in 2013, providing project management and medical translation services to pharmaceutical companies and patient advocacy organisations.

Amongst other projects, Nicole led the development of a mobile app on therapy adherence as well as a global awareness campaign and coordinated the production of patient and expert interviews at medical conferences. Nicole is in her element when organising events and taking care of logistics. Over the past years she has supported numerous patient organisations in the development and implementation of patient summits, conferences, Community Advisory Board meetings, Annual General Meetings, and Steering committee meetings of e.g.European Patients’ Academy (EUPATI, Belgium), Leukaemie-Online / LeukaNET e.V. (Germany), Leukemia Patient Advocates Foundation / CML Advocates Network (Switzerland), Myeloma Patients Europe (Belgium), Patient Power (USA), and the The MDS Alliance (USA).

From 2015-2016 Nicole worked for the European Patients’ Forum as project officer of the European Patients’ Academy (EUPATI). Since January 2018 she runs the Hematology ePAG Project Management Office, supporting the work of the EuroBloodNet ePAG, specifically the preparation of the annual EHA Congresses and the coordination of Hematology Community Advisory Board (Hem-CAB) meetings.

Nicole is mother of two infants and lives in Munich, Germany.
